Toyohari Introductory Workshops

Open to Acupuncturists and 3rd-year Acupuncture students

Toyohari is a form of traditional East Asian medicine. It is a refined system of Japanese meridian therapy. It is different from most other forms of acupuncture in that it uses delicate needle techniques (often non-inserted) and specialized treatment methods, placing great emphasis on the use of pulse diagnosis and palpation skills. The diagnosis and treatment focus on feeling the movement of the Qi directly. Its theoretical foundation is derived from the medical classics: primarily the Nan Jing and also Nei Jing Su Wen and Ling Shu.
